Shreeji ceramic inaugurates new plant at Morbi-India

24th June 2011,

Yet another key achievement has been announced for Shreeji Ceramic group, a long-standing company, described also as India’s advanced ceramic and polished vitrified tile producer. Today the company has successfully inaugurated its all-new plant in Morbi. This plant will allow Shreeji Ceramic to double its output capacity and extend the product range to incorporate larger sizes.

Located next to the existing one, this new plant features the latest machines for multi-charged Vitrified tile. On the pressing side there are two 3rd generation Keda KD4800 presses, equipped with two High-Tech Comettle KM-2F feeders and capable of producing a wide range of sizes (from 605mm x 605mm to 1000mm x 100mm). The Golison, China based company supplied 178-metre kilns are also equipped with energy saving structure which consume less natural gas and electricity. Golison Company has also performed a key role in automatic silo system for storage and transmits of all types of clay between spray-driers to feeders. “Nano+” technology by Keda could be the key feature for our upcoming products in polished vitrified tiles. It offers high dirt and stain resistance making that products longer lasting and maintenance free. Overall plant capacity ranges from 7,000 to 9,500 square metres per day for multi-charged, glazed vitrified and soluble -salt tiles.

This key investment aims to set the industrial standard both locally and nationally. Our aim is to express that, through proper investment in modern technology, even in a country like the India where the economic focus is on the tertiary sector, a manufacturing company can still make a great ‘real economy’ product and do so competitively.
